What is Invisalign® Orthdontic Treatment?
A Clear Plastic Orthodontic Aligner System
Our philosophy at Harvest Dental Care is to provide comprehensive care for all patients. We have chose to work with Invisalign® because they have been used to treat more patients than all the other aligner systems combined. Why? Because experience and quality matters.
What is it? Invisalign® is an orthodontic treatment system that utilizes a sequence of clear plastic aligners that gradually move your teeth into the correct position. You wear these aligners at all times except when eating or drinking (other than water).
Each set of trays is worn for 7-14 days before switching to a new set. Through this process, your teeth gradually move into their corrected and intended positions.
Digital Scanning (iTero® Digital Practice)
Say goodbye to messy impressions! With the putty-free iTero® Digital Dental Scanner, we can create a digital model of your teeth in under 10 minutes. These digital models are used to develop your treatment plan and manufacture your custom clear aligners.
Smile Preview
The iTero® Dental Scanner features powerful software called Invisalign® Outcome Simulator, which enables you to preview your new smile and discuss any desired changes. It's all about Smile Design when it comes to adult orthodontic treatments.
We also can schedule an additional complimentary appointment to review your final treatment plan on the Invisalign® ClinCheck software if you want to see the planned outcome, number of trays and estimate time of initial tray use (additional trays may be needed but are included with treatment costs) .
